An economic release is the scheduled publication of an official statistic, such as employment or consumer prices, at a date and time announced in advance by the agency that produces it.

The US rates calendar for the first three weeks of September 2026: the employment report and CPI at 08:30 Eastern time, and the FOMC meeting of 15 and 16 September with its blackout period, from the second Saturday before the meeting to the day after it. Dates from the BLS and Federal Reserve calendars.
