Error budget क्या है?

The error budget of an SLO is the amount of bad service it allows over its period — one minus the target, times the events — which the service spends on incidents, maintenance and risky changes; when it is spent, reliability work takes priority over features.

A quiet day of the model: the oldest market-data age the risk service used in each minute. Outside the pauses the oldest age of a minute stays about 0.1 to 0.3 seconds, a few times the chain’s typical 50 ms; a few pauses of one or two seconds pass unnoticed; one pause at 14:35 lasts 56 seconds, crossing the SLI’s five-second limit and every static threshold below a minute.
