CoachREMIT is the European Union’s regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011): it prohibits insider trading and manipulation in wholesale electricity and gas markets and requires market participants to register with a national regulator, which gives them an identifier (the ACER code), and to report their transactions and inside information.
