什么是 Climate feedback parameter?

Definition 27.3 University Earth and Space Sciences — Year 2 · 第 27 章 — Anthropogenic Climate Change

The climate feedback parameter λ\lambda is the change in the net downward flux at the top of the atmosphere per degree of global surface warming, in W m−2 ∘C−1\mathrm{W}\,\mathrm{m}^{-2}\,{}^{\circ}\mathrm{C}^{-1}, caused by the response of the climate system to that warming. A stable climate has λ<0\lambda < 0: warming increases the loss of energy to space.

The energy budget of a forced climate (schematic). The forcing adds energy at the top of the atmosphere, the response of the warmer planet removes some (\, T is negative), and the difference is stored, mostly in the ocean. Shares of the heat gained from 1971 to 2018.
