什么是 Drainage basin; drainage divide？

The drainage basin of a point of a river is the whole area of land whose runoff flows to the river upstream of that point and passes that point. The drainage divide is the line that separates two neighbouring drainage basins: it follows the crests of the land, and the rain falling on either side of it flows to different rivers.
