什么是 Heat-production depth scale; reduced heat flow?

又称: heat-production depth scale · reduced heat flow

Definition 5.9 University Earth and Space Sciences — Year 3 · 第 5 章 — Thermal Models of the Lithosphere

When the radiogenic heat production of the crust decreases with depth as A(z)=A0e−z/hrA(z) = A_0e^{-z/h_r}, hrh_r is the heat-production depth scale. The reduced heat flow qmq_m of a province is the heat flow that would remain at its surface if the crust produced no heat: the heat flow from below the radiogenic layer.

Steady continental geotherms with exponentially decreasing heat production (h_r = 10\, km, A_0h_r = 0.4\,q_0, k = 2.5\, W\, m-1\, K-1) for three surface heat flows. The curvature near the surface is the crust’s own heat; below a few depth scales each geotherm is a straight line of gradient q_m/k.
