什么是 Remaining carbon budget?

Definition 27.16 University Earth and Space Sciences — Year 2 · 第 27 章 — Anthropogenic Climate Change

The remaining carbon budget for a temperature limit is the cumulative carbon dioxide that can still be emitted, from a stated date, with global warming staying below that limit at a stated probability, the warming caused by the other human drivers being taken into account.

Warming against cumulative carbon dioxide emissions for the assessed TCRE, 0.45\, C per 1000\, Gt (line) and its likely range (shaded), with the human warming and the emissions to date (dot, likely ranges as bars). The arrow marks the remaining budget for 1.5\, C at 50\,\% from 2020: smaller than a reading of the line alone, because the other drivers also warm.
