什么是 Sea-level budget; thermosteric sea-level rise?

又称: sea-level budget · thermosteric sea-level rise

Definition 27.18 University Earth and Space Sciences — Year 2 · 第 27 章 — Anthropogenic Climate Change

The sea-level budget is the comparison of the observed change of global mean sea level with the sum of its estimated contributions: the expansion of the warming ocean, the melting of glaciers and of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, and the change of the water stored on land. Thermosteric sea-level rise is the part due to the thermal expansion of sea water, at constant mass.

The sea-level budget: observed contributions to the rise of global mean sea level, as rates over three periods ending in 2018, stacked, and the observed rate (diamonds). The gap between the stack and the diamond is the part the budget does not close. Values: IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, Working Group I, Table 9.5.
