Supervised classification; confusion matrix কী?

A supervised classification assigns each pixel of an image to one of a set of classes, from rules or statistics learned on training pixels whose class is known on the ground. Its confusion matrix counts, for a separate set of reference pixels, how many of each true class were assigned to each class: $n_{ij}$ pixels classified as $i$ belong in truth to $j$.
