Laterite কী?
A laterite is the iron- and aluminium-rich product of intense and prolonged hydrolysis under hot, wet climates: a red to brown material, soft or hardened, made of kaolinite and iron oxides and hydroxides, with gibbsite where allitisation is reached, from which nearly all the alkali and alkaline-earth cations and much of the silica have been removed.
