什么是 Solar nebula?

Definition 2.1 University Earth and Space Sciences — Year 2 · 第 2 章 — Planet Formation and Meteorites

The solar nebula is the protoplanetary disc of gas and dust that surrounded the young Sun and from which the planets, their satellites, the asteroids and the comets formed.

Two temperatures of a disc around a star of one solar luminosity. Red: a black grain in direct starlight (). Blue: the midplane of a passive disc around a young solar-mass star, shielded from direct light. Water ice is stable below 182\, K: the arrows mark where each curve crosses that line. The real snow line lay between such limits and moved as the disc evolved. Data: Chiang and Youdin (2010); Lodders (2003).
