The denudation rate of a region is the mean thickness of rock that weathering and erosion together remove from it per unit of time. It is usually given in metres per million years (), which is the same as millimetres per thousand years.

Denudation rate কী?
The denudation rate of a region is the mean rate at which the removal of matter, as solid grains and in solution, lowers its surface, expressed as the equivalent thickness of fresh rock per unit time, in metres per million years (, the same as millimetres per thousand years). The mass removed per unit area and time, in tonnes per square kilometre and per year, is the specific sediment yield.
