Qu'est-ce que « Réseau réciproque » ?

Pour un réseau de vecteurs de base a\mathbf a, b\mathbf b, c\mathbf c et de volume de maille VV, le réseau réciproque a pour vecteurs de base a∗=(b×c)/V\mathbf a^* = (\mathbf b\times\mathbf c)/V, b∗=(c×a)/V\mathbf b^* = (\mathbf c\times\mathbf a)/V, c∗=(a×b)/V\mathbf c^* = (\mathbf a\times\mathbf b)/V, de sorte que a⋅a∗=1\mathbf a\cdot\mathbf a^* = 1 et a⋅b∗=0\mathbf a\cdot\mathbf b^* = 0. Son nœud Ghkl=ha∗+kb∗+lc∗\mathbf G_{hkl} = h\mathbf a^* + k\mathbf b^* + l\mathbf c^* est perpendiculaire aux plans (hkl)(hkl), et ∣Ghkl∣=1/dhkl|\mathbf G_{hkl}| = 1/d_{hkl}.
