A glycoside is the acetal formed when the anomeric of a sugar is replaced by an group from an alcohol, often another sugar; the bond from the anomeric carbon to that oxygen is the glycosidic bond. A reducing sugar is one that reduces mild oxidants such as Fehling’s solution or Tollens’ reagent.
